INGREDIENTS:
Coriander seeds –
250g
Pepper corn – 2 tbs
Cumin seed – 2 tbs
Red chilly – 5
Toor dhal – 2 tsp
Omam/Oregano – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
METHOD:
1.
Dry roast all the above ingredients
separately except Omam and turmeric.
2.
While the ingredients are little hot add omam,
turmeric and mix well. Allow to cool.
3.
In a mixer, add all the above ingredients and
grind coarsely.
4.
Now Rasam powder is ready.
5.
This powder will be less spicy.
6.
Pepper and chilly quantity can be altered
according to individual taste.
