SWEETS --- INSTANT KHEER




Ingredients:
Milk  1 Ltr
Coco-cashew-badam burfi bits = 4 tbsp (or 60gms)

Method:-Boil the milk till it reaches 3/4th quantity, and add the burfi bits and switch off the flame. 
Instant kheer or instant payasam is ready.

         {Note:- No need to add fried cashews to this}

Sweets -- vermicelli kheer or semiya payasam




Ingredients:-

Dry Roasted Semiya  = 1 cup

Sugar      = 1 cup

Boiled Milk     = 1 cup

Water      = 3 cups

Cahews     = 10 nos ( cut into pieces)

Cardamom powder  = 1 tsp

Ghee      = 2 tbsp

Saffron strings    = 7 strings



Method:-

(1)  In a kadai, add 1 tbsp of ghee and fry the cashews till it turns to golden colour and keep it aside…

(2) In the same kadai, add water. When the water starts boiling, add the semiya and cover it with a lid.

(3) When the semiya gets cooked, add the sugar and keep it in sim mode till the sugar dissolves. Switch off the flame.

(4) Add the Milk, cahews, cardamom powder and saffron strings to it.

(5) Semiya Payasam is ready to serve.
