INGREDIENTS
Tomato – 3
Urad dhall - 2 tsp
Bengal gram - 2 tsp
Green chilly – 2
Curry leaves
Mustard – ½ tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Asafotedia – 1 pinch
Oil - 2tsp
Jaggery – ½ tsp
METHOD
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add cumin, mustard, curry leaves and asafotedia.
3. Add urad dhal and Bengal gram and saute till golden brown. Keep aside.
4. Add tomato pieces and cook till raw smell goes off. Allow it to cool.
5. Add all the above to a mixer, add salt and jaggery, grind to a fine paste.
6. Now the chutney is ready
